Today is January 1st, 2013. As is cliche with the change of the last letter of the year, many make goals and resoltions to improve their lives. The normal dieting and excersize, talking to family members, and keeping my room clean just isn't going to be enough this year.

This year, I begin to deticate myself to the Lord. I have made a pact with myself that I will read the scriptures daily, study the Preach My Gospel, and have a prayer constantly in heart. I want to be the best I can be and I'm starting today.

January 1st, 2013. The beginning to be a better me.



MISSION UPDATES: At 6:15 today I recived an Email from my stake president, President Fotheringham, that my papers have been recived in the church offices in SLC. I am so excited to know where I am going. Then I can finally shop for exactly what i need, pack my bags, and wait anxiously by my front door until the day I get to leave. So much excitment and so many nerves. I wish there were better words to describ how I am feeling. It's a wonderful feeling!

Here's a scripture for you to read today:
1st Nephi 22:31
"Wherefore, ye need not suppose that I and my father are the only ones that have testified, and also taught them. Wherefore, if ye shall be obedient to the commandments, and endure to the end, ye shall be saved at the last day. And thus it is. Amen."
Remember when you are making goals this year to having keeping the commandments at the top of your list.
