This week has been crazy. It actually rained for the first time in my whole mission yesterday. It has rained in other parts of the valley while I have been out but it POURED on us yesterday! We were walking in one of our a neighborhoods a few blocks away from our car when a HUGE crash of lightening and a loud roar of thunder suddenly happen right over us. And, just like in the movies, within seconds we were drenched. A little white car pulled over a few minutes later and unlocked the doors.
"Get in the car for crying out loud!" Our BISHOP yelled. It was one of the funniest moments of my whole mission. He drove us back to his house and the whole family sat on the back porch and watched the rain just pour down. I was actually cold, and I actually used a blanket. It got down to 78* I think... I just loved it. :)

Anyways-
I ate sushi this week. And yes, Mom, I took pictures to prove it.
We went laser tagging and mini-golfing as a district last week on P-day. I took second, first out of all the sisters. And Eli, there is proof of that for you! :)
This week we took the beautiful Ms. Gelabert out with us and she challenged us to test our faith and tell the Lord we want a new investigator before dinner (it was 3:30, so we had an hour and a half.) We started with a prayer and put our feet to the pavement. Lo and behold, we talked to a lady in her driveway about how Christ's church has been restored to the Earth through a prophet of God. She said "we have been looking for a church. We just moved here and need a place to plant our roots." She invited us to begin teaching her right there! I just LOVE how the Lord knows our hearts!

We are having to head out now. I thought I was typing fast enough to get it all in.. hm. There's always next week!
Love you all,
Sister Fields
